Seismic Design Consultants, Inc. specializes in the structural and seismic evaluation of buildings and in seismic retrofit design of existing buildings. The principals in our firm are Registered Structural Engineers who have evaluated several hundred buildings for lenders, buyers, and prudent owners over the past several years and have also designed seismic retrofits for over a hundred seismically vulnerable buildings.

We have many years experience in the evaluation of facilities and buildings in terms of seismic vulnerability. These projects generally include:

• review of the building(s)
• assessment of the earthquake hazards
• estimate of potential earthquake loss
• recommendations for mitigating potential future earthquake damage.

Our firm has performed seismic evaluations of large facilities such as regional shopping centers, multi-building industrial/business parks, multi-building apartment complexes, and high-rise office building complexes as well as evaluations of single building properties.
